The Culham and Diedrichsen Labs join an international consortium of nine other researcher groups forming the Digital Brain Project, a large research initiative supported by social media giant Meta that aims to create a massive, openly shared dataset of human brain activity. This project aims to study the brain in a way that more closely mimics how the brain navigates real-world complexity – by putting people inside an fMRI scanner and having them play video games and perform a large battery of cognitive tasks.
